Football Game

Jeff came home from school last week and insisted we had to go to the football game so he could be in the Punt, Pass & Kick Competition.

It was a 4:00 game so after we went to the Helget's.

Weekend Fun

And to kick off the school year Jeff and I ran the Eagles 5000.

 He had to start in back by the Kindergartners and younger and ended up finishing somewhere around #5! He was bound and determined to be one of the first ones in! I think we may have a future track star!

 And we ended the weekend by going to Rich Ruch's benefit. Jeff had lots of fun at the park with his wrestling buddies.

First day of Kindergarten

Jeff woke up that morning saying he really didn't want to go to school....great. And this went on for awhile, but all of a sudden he put his new school shoes on and just like that "Mom lets go outside and take pictures and get ready for the bus!" 

Here he is all excited...finally!

 He was so excited to get on the bus. Scott and I watched him walk down the aisle all the way until he found Kaiya and hopped in the seat across from her and waved to us out the window. 

I decided to just let him take the bus to school and do it on his own. We have our wonderful neighbor Kyle who made sure Jeff got into the school. And I was so excited when I got this picture from Kaiya on the way to work....Jeff had arrived at Jefferson. He had a great day and had fun at Kids Connection after school.

Today a Preschooler, Tomorrow a Kindergartner

I can't believe Jeffrey will be a Kindergartner tomorrow. Where has time gone? He is excited and ready and we are excited for him to start the next chapter in his life. 

Last Week of Summer

Most of the week was spent with Aunt Rachelle.

 I came home to Rachelle and Kaiya's masterpiece...Jeff!! I about died when I saw the mascara and all!!! I can't not believe he sat still long enough.

 Friday it was up to the cabin for a long weekend with friends and family. Jeff decided his new swim balls could be boobs!

 Friday afternoon we headed to Nancy's cabin to check out the rain water in the driveway.

 And Jeff had to take out the paddle boat.

 There was lots of fishing action on the dock.

 This picture reminds me of why we love the cabin so much.
