MN Zoo

Eva, Tork, Jeffrey and I went to the Minnesota Zoo. It was a great time. 

Giraffe encounter. This was really neat.

 At the farm area. Jeffrey loved being in by the goats.

 We took a wagon ride to and from the farm.

 The dinosaur exhibit was amazing. Jeffrey really likes dinosaurs, so this was great. That was the main reason we went to the zoo. The dinosaurs moved (even their eyes moved) and made noise. They were very life-like.

 A play area with a tree house. I was very impressed by the amount of play areas they have.

 Eva and her pink giraffe. We could not leave the zoo with out that!!! Jeff had to get a dinosaur, but I got stuck carrying that around.

 These two were great together.

Lake Hanska

We camped out a Lake Hanska last night with some friends.

Jeff jumped off the pontoon ALL day long!

 He made Jim jump with him too.

Jeff caught a cat fish off the dock. Jeff enjoyed fishing with Steve.

Thanks to the Dummer's for having us over, it was LOTS of fun!!

School

Jeffrey and I joined some friends and toured the old Junior High and High School yesterday. It was a lot of fun seeing old teachers and seeing how things have changed.

Standing in the old classrooms, I was amazed at how much those classrooms at the Jr. High still look the same. There were even some signs with the teachers names on the walls yet. I don't think anybody has been in some areas since they closed the doors. We pretty much got to go everywhere in the Jr. High except the cafeteria and music rooms. I would have liked to see that area, but we were told the air quality was too poor down there.

 He thought it was pretty neat to find Justin's name on the wall.

 Sarah and I had a lot of fun talking about our days at the Jr. High.

 This was funny...at the high school they now have pencil dispensers on the wall!

 Standing by mom's old high school locker, except they are now purple. They were a very icky shade of brown when I was there.

4th of July 2013

We had a great 4th of July with family and friends. We headed over to Gibbon to Clear Lake. It was a fun and beautiful day on the water.
